Hi, I’m Gerilynne! I grew up in New England, where I spent my free time hiking the White Mountains, snowboarding, and being outdoors surrounded by animals and nature. Since I was a teenager, I’ve loved caring for dogs. I would walk and watch them while going to school, and over the years I always had rescue pets of my own.

For more than 15 years I worked in the dental field, which taught me to stay calm under pressure, be patient, and always show empathy. My dad was a first responder, so from a young age I learned to be prepared for anything.

After COVID, my husband and I moved to Florida and went through some tough life changes. Through it all, our pets gave us comfort, love, and stability. That made me realize just how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets when you can’t be there. That’s why I started my business, Comet Canines.

I’m a Certified Professional Pet Sitter and have completed courses in Dog & Cat Fundamentals, Pet First Aid & CPR, Health & Sanitation, and Disaster Preparedness. I take ongoing training seriously so I can keep every pet safe and happy.

Today, it’s just me and my three Frenchies by my side. When you work with me, you know exactly who’s caring for your pets. I take time to learn each dog’s personality and needs, and together we build a relationship based on trust, safety, and love.

Because to me, pets aren’t “just pets” — they’re family. 🐾
